Seeing as this site takes its name from a review for this very film, it seemed fitting to start with a mention of this fine, fine film.
What to watch for:
+ Jamie Pressley with black hair and piercings galore, playing “the bad girl”. Especially brilliant work in one of the film’s climactic battle scenes, where we finally find out who is better — Mountain Dew or Pepsi.
+ Ice Cube in possibly his hammiest role ever (and yes, we’re including the road trip movie with the 2 kids). Imagine Ice Cube’s most over-the-top badass posing from the N.W.A. days, multplied by 10. Then remember he’s now a family star. Yeah….you see what we mean.
+ The train-bike chase sequence. I’d love to hear some physics professors break down this one and try to find one element that observes reality. Most cartoons I’ve seen are more rooted in reality than this sequence.
